Social media has been in an absolute tizzy upon discovering ChatGPT couldn’t write “David Mayer”. After endless David Mayer queries, it has seemingly been fixed.

I had surmised it was probably due to David Mayer being a Rothschild and that theory is looking most plausible… the EU has super strict privacy laws and a “right to be forgotten” request may have been filed.

In any case, it is astounding to think about how much energy was used just on David Mayer.

Generative AI is an energy suck. BUT, researchers argue it’s actually much more sustainable than the CO2e emissions produced by humans doing the same tasks factoring in paper, time, etc.
