HAPPY 2025!

Gauging off of recent years, I think we’re in for a wild ride this year. 🎉💃

Today, Congress will be in session at 1 pm to certify Trump as winner of the 2024 Presidential election presided over by Kamala Harris.

A look back at years past:

  • Jan 6, 2021: 4 years ago the Capital riot occurred 😬

  • Jan 6, 1994: Nancy Kerrigan was attacked by Tonya Harding at a Detroit ice rink

  • Jan 6, 1941: President Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered his "Four Freedoms" speech during the State of the Union address, articulating the fundamental freedoms he believed everyone in the world ought to enjoy: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want, and Freedom from Fear.

  • Jan 6, 1929: Mother Theresa arrived in Calcutta, India to begin her work that led to her sainthood.

  • Jan 6, 1912: New Mexico was named the 47th state of the United States.

  • Jan 6, 1838: Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail demonstrated their telegraph system for the first time using Morse code.

  • Jan 6, 1412: Joan of Arc was born

Here’s to a fabulous 2025 and adding more fun facts to the history books (or LLMs). 👏🙌
