AI is getting exceptionally good at art. OpenAI released Sora, its generative video platform last week, and it’s awesome.

One thing I’m confused about though is 99% of the time ChatGPT’s art output is white people. So far the only generative art I’ve made that is consistently diverse is output from X’s Grok.

Quick tangent from art: Nokia has pivoted a bunch over the years. Most people know Nokia for their 90’s cellphones, but most recently they’ve produced a 360° 5G camera (that’s my connection to art)… but they actually began as a paper mill in 1865, then they made rubber boots and tires, THEN they got into mobile phones and telecommunications, and last week they announced their 8k 360° camera.
